Fun

i don’t normally buy fighter games cuz i’m not a fan. but with the recent price drop, i had to pick this up. i must say it is fun. it’s been so long since i played sf. last one i played was sfalpha3. great roster, great graphics,fast paced. however since the last sf i played, the face of certain chars looks wrong, like ryu and ken. they don’t look as handsome as before. if ur a competitive player, i’m sure u’d want this game now at this price.

This game its fantastic!, it’s fun, it’s as hardcore as sweet as anybody would like it to be. IF you are a pro, you would find challenge, and if you are a rookie, you will learn the path of the warrior very good with the trials tutorials. 

The network features are great!, i love to challenge people in the internet (most of the time i still loose) and i specially love to challenge my friends via network fights, we can chat while we are fighting and is very fun. 

And if you buy this game from amazon, you will get an extra discount that makes the game even better for my pocket!!! still, the game is cheap indeed in the original relase price.

Fun and addictive, but lacking offline modes

I’ve always been a casual fighting game fan, but Street Fighter has never really been a series that interested until SFIV was released. Once SSFIV was announced, I was excited, especially as more details started to emerge about the game. So I was all over buying it once it came out. The game is very addictive, especially in multiplayer. The matches are short (3 minutes tops) and the community is large enough that I get a constant stream of players to play against at virtually all hours of the day. Even in the middle of the night, which is when I generally play. 

I do realize that SSIV is a primarily multiplayer game, but I would have liked to have more then just arcade mode and simple challenges for single player content. To be fair to Capcom though, the only fighting game series to really focus heavily on single player content was the Soul Calibur series. And at $30, you really can’t go wrong. 

The 10 new fighters are fantastic and are the selling point to this version of the game. Don’t get the original SFIV, even at its reduced price. This is the best Street Fighter to date.

Awesome game

Although i am not a great Street Fighter fan, i bought this game because a friend of mine more like a brother wanted to play with me. Since this game now has a team match, we would invite each other and sometimes be in same teams and fight or in different teams. It is fun sometimes but since sometimes i am unable to pull off an ultra or super on time, it frustrates me. Nonetheless, this game is very good more like Excellent. I believe it wont be a waste of time to give it a try

The Best $40 you can spend

10 new characters is not accurate marketing for this game. Try 35 new characters! The tweaks and improvement to the existing characters as well as adding Ultra Moves really changes the balance. The new stages are simply beautiful. The online while still laggy at times from my experience (I am on Comcast internet though)is by far the best online multiplayer for any fighting game yet. I do have issues finding ranked matches like in the last version of SF4. However entering Arcade mode with fight request on will get you in a match fast enough. Endless Battle and Team Battle are welcome fun additions to the Online component. Even the menus look better. The music is better as well. Gone is the indestructible boy band j-pop Theme.For those of you who aren’t fond of the SF4 battle themes have the option of using the character stage themes from previous games. All in all my only complaint would have to go the Arcade mode. Capcom was grilled for the prolouge and ending sequences being so lazily animated in SF4’s first console outing. Now these movies aren’t even animated at all they are still shots with character monolouges. I will say that the rival battle sequences are much cooler so +1 for that. All in all dont believe anyone who tells you this is not an expansion. This is an entirely new experience worthy of a disc release and at Forty dollars there is no reason not to own this game.
